Don’t give up// Words of Encouragement

Flower in Field

The past few weeks/ months have been very discouraging for me. I have no idea where my life goes from here. I’m somewhat having a “quarter life crisis”. Sometimes I think.. maybe I’m too old to start dancing again, gosh I should have stayed in school, etc. etc. It just gets hard!! It’s life.

BUT, I WILL NOT GIVE UP! I refuse. And you really shouldn’t either because it will never be too late to do something you love. Start a blog or a new job, go back to school, pick up a new hobby. Don’t let others or yourself hold you back.

The bible says “You do not have, because you do not ask.” We must ask the Lord to send us what it is we want from our life but ultimately seek to fulfill the plans he has for us. Tonight, I will be praying for just that and I would love my readers to do the same! It is never too late!

me and my d
Hello everyone! I hope your year has started off as wonderful as mine has. The holidays wore me out and I have been pretty busy with upcoming projects, so I apologize for not posting in so long.
One of my favorite blogs Mama.Papa.Bubba. recently began doing “currently” posts and I thought that it would be a fun way to get to know me and whats going on in the Bray household recently.
WATCHING: I must admit, we have had too many late nights lately. All spent watching great shows like Cheers, Frasier, Big Bang Theory, and Biggest Loser. TV is personally one of my guilty pleasures.

LISTENING TO: Lana Del Rey- I love love her right now, can’t get her songs out of my head, and I have had her station on for days!

PLAYING: It has been all work no play around here lately, but I am looking forward to a date night with my hubby to listen to a good local band play.

TALKING ABOUT: Different ways to get back into dance again. Are there any dancers out there wishing to get back into it? How are you doing it? I simply must dance. I love it and my city just doesn’t have what I’m looking for when it comes to dance.

READING: It is no secret that I love to read. So, now there are about 5 books on my nightstand.. and I am definitely in the middle of reading them all. They range from Religious books to health and beauty books.

EATING: Recently tried a restaurant in the area called Chimi V’s. I had the burrito bowl with fajita meat and have had a craving for it ever since. It is most definitely worth a try if you are ever in Shreveport/ Bossier. I will be recreating the burrito bowl in a future blog post because it was so yummy. Stay tuned for that!

So what are your goals for 2013 and have you stuck with them? I’m looking forward to sharing my goals with you in my next post!!!
